I had a friend ask about making a lanyard for his knife, my style is to make them ON the knife and I would have to make and send it to him, so that posed a problem as when you create a lanyard the cord is often too thick to try and slip through a standard lanyard tube hole. So, I thought 'hey, pull out a section of the inner threads, leaving just the shell in the middle and then slide in the removed threads so when you tie the knots you have something thicker to tie with. Easier said than done
it is much like trying to put toothpaste back into the tube! But after some wrangling I was able to do it, if I had some different tools I'm sure it would make it a lot easier.
So, long story short (too late) I ended up with this one, it has the shell of the paracord as the loop and then regular diamond knots with a Viking rune bead between them.
Price on this is $old shipped in the USA, payment by check, sorry but no paypal available.
stretched out it measures about 6" end to end with the loop portion about 4 1/2" long.
