EDIT: NOW SOLD - LAST 24 HOURS ON THIS EXTRA OFFER HERE ---> HERE (UPDATE: SOLD)

Hey guys!

Im happy today to show you a knife made in one of the newest carbon steels in the world Sheffcut - a similar steel to 26c3 but with niobium as a grain refining element.

I want the customer who owns this knife to design its handle based on its personality and taste - similar to a custom order.

THIS KNIFE is sexy, easy to use, hardened to 63hrc with a very very fine grain guaranteed. Its hamon brings to the blade a really strong and vibrant personality and is extremely chatoyant, by every angle you see the blade you will spot different details.

Hamon are permanent, literally the steel microstructure processed to be visible. It will always be there no matter what happens to the blade finish. The only way to remove a hamon is heating the blade past its hardening temperature so the microstructure of the steel would "reset".

The hamon is precisely the difference between martensite (hardened steel microstrucutre) and the other as pearlite etc.

This blade was literally hand polished - something that took me more than 15 hours of work as i had to sand it from 100# grit and take it higher to 2000

It is 45mm wide at the heel and has 3mm (3/32") of thickness in the thickest point.

It tapers very smoothly towards the tip where it has a very aggressive tip.

IMPORTANT DETAIL: I designed the last 100mm of blade lenght towards the tip to be able to work as a petty/paring knife - if you need to make delicate work, the tip of this knife will do it amazingly. Since the blade is really well balanced and light, this will allow you to have a very versatile tool in the kitchen.

This blade has a really nice grind - it is slightly convex for better food release and at the same time it offers the blade enough material to safely handle its 63hrc hardness.

It is almost zero and will be extremely easy to resharpen and keep it slicing food effortless.

It has a long, thick tang that will be much more than enough for keeping this blade being used for generations.

Pictures dont do its justice, but the blade is actually mirrored and will leave you in awe once you see the hamon chatoyant effects in person.

HANDLE - whoever buys this knife will have the opportunity of designing the handle from zero with me.
