I made a batch of these some time ago and left a few with the CPK crew. Just got the 3 last sheaths back and here they are!
These are 100% hand made- hand stitched, wet molded, burnished and hot packed here on the homestead. They're made from 9oz veg tan leather, and packed with wax for resistance to the elements. I'm confident that you can store your knife in these sheaths without worrying about corrosion at all. Not a guarantee, but it's what I do and I've had no problems with rust or staining.
They are stitched with a very high strength, fine waxed polyester thread- resistant to rot, mildew and decay caused by UV light. Each of these sheaths has a slightly different colour thread, make sure you identify the one you like when you claim one.
You likely won't find a sheath for one of these daggers with a smaller footprint. They carry extremely well, and even though they include a DCC clip, for iwb carry they stay in place without one. They retention is very positive, almost to the level of kydex, but allows for a smooth, quiet draw.
I'm still using the prototype after a couple years. See below;
Because these sheaths are symmetrical and finicky in other ways, and the CPK Boot Dagger is no longer being produced, I will not be making more of them so these are the last.
The price is $165usd, plus $35 shipping to the USA, and payment is accepted via Paypal Goods and Services invoicing. If you are in Canada, payment is via etransfer and the cost is $200cdn, shipping included.
