This is a new leather knife sheath handmade by me. Extra heavy-duty materials and construction. Built like a tank. It will fit most knives with a blade up to 6 1/8" long and 1 5/8" wide. The design is based on the Cattaraugus 225-Q, Case 337-6" Q and Pal RH-36 military knife sheaths made and used during WWII. It is my modern version of a classic military knife sheath. Made from 8-9 oz. veg. tanned leather with an untreated finish. The untreated finish allows for the sheath to be easily wet-formed to your particular knife. The finish can be left as-is, stained or dyed any color you like, or you can treat it with mink-oil or neatsfoot oil to soften, preserve and water-proof the leather. This sheath is new and never used, if used as-is, it will need a breaking-in period. Hand sewn with white nylon stitching. Triple-stitched at the throat and toe. Has a full length, thick one piece welt sewn in. The welt creates a roomy pocket for easier blade insertion, protects the stitching from being cut and eliminates the need for rivets. Contact cement welded before stitching. Has two Weaver manufactured Chicago screws at the throat. The sheath is 1/2" thick around the welt. Chromed snap on the keeper. The keeper is riveted in place. Great sheath for hunting, camping, hiking or EDC. Completely handmade one at a time in the USA. This is a right hand sheath. New and never used. SOLD $40 shipped anywhere within the US and its protectorates. Contact me at billgoodwin1958@gmail.com
