This is a catch and release for me because a mere couple of days after I received this HatiOn Lite, I also picked up a NeOn Lite. The NeOn Lite at 3.4 ounces has more "heft" for my purpose as opposed to this HatiOn Lite at mere 2.4 ounces, so I am letting this one go to a new home. This HatiOn Lite was purchased directly from one of Blade Forums' respected private Shirogorov collectors.
With that said, the price is firm with no offer / trade propositions. The listed prices is all inclusive of PayPal fees (G&S only) and the USPS Domestic Priority Mail shipping to all 50 States. The shipment will be both insured with signature required at the point of delivery (please see terms of sale).
Price is$650 all inclusive SOLD to
Michael Chester
Description: LNIB with the original box, COA card AND Shirogorov cloth. The edge is factory edge and the folder has no issues whatsoever. The blade is centered with no play in any direction. The lock up is also solid and typical Shiro-like! This one was purchased directly by the original owner from Recon1 so with the U.S COA, any future warranty matters will be addressed by their only authorized U.S. dealer / distributor.
Reason for LNIB description as opposed to NIB: although the previous owner had stored this one as a safe queen, he disclosed to me that he had flipped it open a few times and also cut some phonebook paper. This is exactly what I did while in my ownership, i.e, flipped a few times, fondled, admired and cut some paper to get it out of my system!
Final note: I had mentioned earlier in my post that I decided to keep my NeOn Lite but it was a tough decision because I prefer the Vanax 37 on this HatiOn Lite to the M390 steel which came with my NeOn Lite. That said, the NeOn Lite was lightly used so it's more broken in with some signs of use which will not make me feel guilty for using it more, so it stays. The HatiOn Lite samples do NOT tend to drop as freely as NeON Lite patterns do (maybe the reduced weight?) but this one flips open like a rocket but like I said, for more smooth free dropping action it needs a bit of a nudge and must be broken it in the long run, so I have been told. I don't know for sure though as I'm still a Shiro newbie!
Strict terms of sale:
1- Must be 18 years or over and must know your own State's, City's and Local laws with regards to purchase, transportation and handling of knives.
2- NO TRADES / No Offers please. Domestic shipping only!
3- "I will take it" on here takes priority as far as time stamp goes, then followed by "start a conversation" which is the old PM routine. I will ask for your PayPal email address to invoice you, as I prefer this as opposed to you just sending me PP funds.
4- My decision as to whom I do business with is final. I don't hold onto my offerings for days on end and if the transaction is not completed and funded within a timely manner, I will move onto other prospective buyers, if any. I also reserve the right to terminate the listing at any time of my choosing.
5- Any deal is truly a done deal when both parties are completely satisfied based on my thorough and honest description. You may contact me within 24 hours of confirmed receipt if unsatisfied (I was on vacation or any other delayed stories will not cut it. STRICTLY 24 hours from confirmed receipt!!!) but I will NOT accept any returns if the knife has been used, abused, dismantled or simply due to buyer's remorse (in case of any returns for whatever reason, buyer is responsible for fully insured return shipping fees in the same way it was received).
6- I will ship out with insurance for the full transaction value AND I do require signature upon delivery. I will not be held responsible in the case that you may need to visit your local USPS to collect the package because no one was at the address to accept delivery because of the point of delivery terms!
Thank you.
