Hello again-
Here is an interesting find and deal! This was a prototype back when we were designing our Warthog series of knives. It has been sitting in a box unused on my workbench so I figured it would be best to let it go to a good home. The reason I am blowing it out is that it is a prototype and the blade profile isn't what we settled on using for the final models which are going out to dealers. The method of attachment for the mammoth tooth is a bit different as well. Here we used a stainless backer on the tooth which is a bit overkill. But it looks cool. Anyway, here is a great chance to own a mammoth tooth knife at a fraction of the cost of one of our standard models or customs!
This Warthog prototype comes in at 8 ounces and measures about 7-7/8 inches overall. The blade is about 3-1/2 inches and the steel is 440C stainless. As with all our blades, this was hand made in my shop in Ellington, CT. It comes with a presentation box, a walnut logo display box, a basic leather sheath, Muhlhauser knives window sticker, and certificate of authenticity. The price is only $SOLD. Just let me know if you want it and it will be shipped to you ASAP. And if you don't want to purchase it, but like our knives, please visit our website at www.mgmknives.com or if you really want to help, please like us on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/mgmknives

And if you prefer a smaller knife, I placed a prototype of our new Impala model up for sale yesterday on this same forum. Take a look if you have not already!
Thanks to everyone for the interest and support - it is greatly appreciated!!!
