Hi All-
Here is another special today, this time in the shape of a Prototype Warthog. I was trying to do something a little unique and see if it would be something we would make as part of our standard series moving forward. I decided to take the Warthog design and then use cocobolo handles, and then placed a vertical wood inlay just behind the front bolster, which further adorned with a vertical brass spacer. It is definitely unique. I then put hand file work on the spine in our Aztec pattern.
Some specifics - the steel is 440C which I heat treated to 57-58RHc (cryogenically treated and double tempered). The bolsters are brass, and the wood cocobolo. It comes in just under 8 inches in overall length with a blade length of 3-1/2 inches. The blade is flat ground. This knife will come complete in our presentation walnut box with a certificate of authenticity, basic leather sheath, logo sticker for your vehicle, and logo bandaids. We hope you like it! It is being offered at a very large prototype discount at $SOLD. Please visit our website for more details on this knife as well as the others we have put up on there in the past 24 hours. http://www.mgmknives.com/Muhlhauser-knives-prototype-special-Warthog-WH0013-p/wh0013.htm
