I'm not a particularly motivated seller right now, but the knives are taking over my living room and I definitely need to thin the herd.
Price: $395 shipped, FIRM. There will be no price drops on this one.
Please send Paypal under the "payment for goods" option to kentbell - at - twobytwelve - dot - com.
Thank you very much for looking,
Kent

W2, Micarta Recurve with Hamon
This is some W2, forged out and left with the forge scale on the flats. The spine has been fileworked and the blade has been clay quenched for a nice hamon. It was then hand sanded to 2000 grit and etched to bring out the details.
The handle is linen micarta, held in place with regular pins and one mosaic, along with acraglas. The I bought the bolster material under the heading of "bone Micarta", but I believe it is some sort of solid phenolic. I did not see any fabric in it. I rapped one with a hammer to make sure it was strong enough, and it appeared much stronger than bone.
The handle is 8-10oz hand tooled and stitched leather. The knife fits snugly and draws easily.
Dimensions
Blade - 9" tip to handle
OAL - 14 1/8"
Price - $415 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
