Selling an all-black Maxpedition Monsoon Gearslinger, I am second owner and have never carried it bought it to EDC but it never happened.
The bag is in Excellent condition, like new actually - still needs to be broken in.
This bag is a great well thought out design. It would be ideal as an EDC or commuter bag, or as an outdoor day/trail pack. Reservoir compartment can be also used for concealed carry, and can be accessed without taking the bag off your shoulder.
From the Maxpedition write up:
"Rugged enough for the field and also designed for urban & suburban applications, the original Monsoon Gearslinger® carries on your right shoulder and sits on your left hip. It features a durable teardrop-shaped design that includes a spacious main compartment, back-to-back pockets, fixed (adjustable) shoulder strap & concealable waist strap, internal MP3 player pouch & rubberized headphone port and a water resistant protective over-flap.
Dual hydration pockets - accommodates a 100oz/3L hydration reservoir and also has an integral 32oz/1L water bottle pocket to help keep you hydrated on long trips (bottle sold separately)."
Here is a link to the Maxpedition site for specs and more pictures:

*Please note: the snap has pulled out of the zipper security strap (strap is there to loop through zipper pull to keep zipper from being pulled down) see inset in picture #3.
Thats how it came to me, I really didnt see it as a problem as it does not affect functionality at all, but wanted to point it out.
SOLD
Thanks for looking!
