I purchased this Ultratech from Southern Tactical Blades, 1 week ago. I've always wanted a Microtech OTF, but now that I have it I realize that I'll never use it. I carried the knife for the entire week but haven't cut anything besides a piece of paper. The knife is like new with the factory edge, but I've circled the spots on the knife that show signs of use. I will post photos of the knife box when I get home from work. I still have the receipt from Southern Tactical Blades, and if the buyer wants it, I'll send it along with the knife. *I've uploaded the photos of the receipt and the end of the box*
I'll take $SOLD F&F, for the knife and I'll ship it via USPS Priority Mail with signature confirmation. I'll pay for the shipping and I'll ship the same day that you pay, if you pay before 3:00pm central time Monday-Friday.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I should get back to you quickly.
Edit...I have noticed a sound when firing and retracting the blade. I assume it's a vibration from the spring. I really can't explain what it sounds like, maybe a "ting" would be the sound. The knife is very smooth and easy to fire and retract, so it doesn't affect the operation at all. This is my first Microtech, so I wouldn't know if the "ting" is normal.
**Edit 2...I uploaded a video to youtube. It's my attempt at letting you hear the sound that I'm talking about.
