I purchased this new from NC Blade, and carried it for a day or two and opened a few boxes. It is M390MK steel with natural clear handles apocalyptic blade finish. I can't see any wear or marks, and the edge is perfect factory sharp. There is the SLIGHTEST bit of vertical blade play if you grab the blade near the tip and move it. Comes with everything as new.
