Microtech UTX70 with green canvas micarta scale and single plain-edge stonewashed blade. Never carried, never sharpened; just sat in the endtable, forgotten until I was recently reminded of it when I found the original box in a box of AR magazines. Comes with original labeled box and Microtech warranty card. I can't remember the year it was made, but it was somewhere in the 2006-2008 timeframe. I'd like SOLD Paypal which includes USPS Priority Mail, Delivery Confirmation and insurance. I'll ship first business day after payment clears. PM with any questions or if you want to buy it. Just posting "I'll take it." and not following up doesn't cut it. Only trade might be a "user" Small Sebenza Insingo. I'd throw in some cash to make it right, but I'm not looking to spend/trade the equivalent of MSRP for your new knife.

Hi. Can I get close ups of the handle? Also do you know if the canvas is removable? Possible a regular black handle underneath??

I doubt very much it would be practical to remove the micarta scale and still operate the knife. You could remove it if you had a 3 pronged drive bit for the proprietary screws, but the scale makes up about 75% of the thickness of that side of the knife and I doubt it would function properly. I did receive your emails, but would prefer to deal directly with a forum member rather than a referred friend. If you would like to buy the knife, please enable private messaging on your forum account and I'm sure we could correspond and find out if the knife is a good fit for you. Thanks!

I think he was asking if you could "peel off" the micarta and expose a normal-looking aluminum handle underneath. I know the answer to that is no.

Looks like I would have to upgrade my membership for private messaging. Also realized what the finish was when I saw micarta. I understand completely. Thanks!
