Just finished....this is a mini hi-carbon steel head that was machined from key way stock - cut from cold rolled square bar stock, machined, profiled and etched with BC gun-blue to give a "shop" appearance....my idea of the old "salesman sample"....a seasoned, fancy European walnut shaft was hand carved, finished with original 'Tried & True' and added to complete the scale model...The shaft to head connection is a permanent friction fit secured by 3000psi epoxy.....Overall length is 5"....Soup can is not included in sale....Nice gift for machinist, knifemaker, or your favorite leprechaun.
