Right from the shop...something different. Custom hand made scale model (approx. 1:5) of the Norlund brand "Hudson Bay" style axe. Head is machined and hand profiled from hi-carbon tool steel and it has an edge - this is not for a child...it will cut. Handle is hand carved from aged white oak. Head is attached by friction fit via black walnut wedge....minute NORLUND label is glued.....gnarly lodgepole pine stand and miniature leather sheath complete the package...This was a labor of love. Nice Christmas gift for the Norlund collector....

That is very cool and unique. Great thought and effort there. Nice attention to detail. I would think that would make an axe collector very happy!
