Up for sale is a Backwoods custom hunter / bushcrafter for your consideration.
Purchased directly from Bill Akers in 2011, original specification is as follows:
STYLE - DROP POINT
STEEL - ALDO'S 1095, CLAY QUENCHED
FINISH - BELT BLADE FINISHED
SCALES - DON HANSON CROTCH WALNUT
HARDWARE - ALUM PINS AND LANYARD TUBE
MEASUREMENTS - OAL: 8.75, BLADE: 4.25", THICKNESS: 0.125
SHEATH - TOOLED LEATHER SHEATH
EXTRAS - FILEWORK & JIMPING COMBO

This knife was never used but was modified. Reason being when I first received the knife, the tip wasnt symmetrical. After reprofiling the tip, I added a sharpening choil before slapping it on my Edge Pro Apex so the blade wont develop a recurve over time as a result of repeated sharpening. Refer to photo illustration as to where I added the choil and how big it is. Since then the knife has been in storage. Im therefore listing its condition as mint. One other quick note, blade thickness is on the thin side, thus not optimal for heavy batoning. Rather, it was designed as a great cutter / slicer. Please keep this in mind if youre considering buying it.
Asking SOLD via USPS money order or Paypal gift option. Please add $3.40 if interested but uncomfortable with using the PayPal gift option. Shipping fee is $5.80 via USPS Priority Mail flat rate small box(CONUS). Feel free to PM me if you have questions and/or need additional photos.
*I will consider a trade for this one if you have a similarly conditioned BRISA Enzo Badger in D2 or O1 that you would like to get rid of.
Thanks for checking it out.
Kenny
