SOLD Selling a kitchen knife I bought a couple years ago for my wife. I love this knife, but it is too impractical for this house hold. We are a dishwashing kind of family.

I bought it from an online retailer 'cutlery and more'(an exclusive to them), and has been used with no packaging. It's been hand washed Everytime but once when my mother in law ran it through the dishwasher. It didn't hurt it any though, blade or micarta handle.

It does have quite a bit scratches on it though, and some chips in the blade. That was most likey due to putting it in the sink before washing it(and clinging against dishes). Like I said, we have no business having such a knife:)
I just had it sharpened today at River Edge Cutlery and they brought back most of the edge, still some dings though closer to the handle. And the very tip was brought back as well. Think not even 1/16" was missing.

Here is a copy and paste from the website I bought it from:
Micro Carbide powder steel SG2 construction (MC63); core is surrounded with a hammered stainless steel Damascus textured finish
63 Rockwell hardness; special Criodur ice-hardening process maximizes properties of the steel
Traditional Japanese blade hand-honed to a 9 to 12° angle
Micarta D-shape handle, with a mosaic accent complimented by red spacers and a metal end cap with logo
Handcrafted in Seki, Japan with a lifetime warranty

It retails for $169.99, and hoping to get SOLD $80 for it shipped USPS priority with PayPal fees included. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. SOLD

A couple of questions I have just been asked:
1) why does it still have dings after it was sharpened? I
Don't have a good answer for that. The edge that is there, is sharp. But there is still a few dings like mentioned. It's like a $5 sharpening job. He pretty much passes the knives over a paper wheel I believe. So kind of like a touch up job.

2) What is the lifetime warranty?
From my reading it is defects in material/finish from factory. So I don't think that will be relavent in this case. It also requires the factory packaging which I know for certain I don't have.
