SOLD...........ML, Matt Lesniewski, Custom made "large game and trail knife" with tiger maple grips, made in the primitive style. Excellent knife for large game hunting and skinning, trail and woods work, bush craft, black powder muzzle loaders primitive work, etc.,, with tapered forward clip about 2.5" long. Forged from 1095 high carbon steel, full tang. Patterned and Patina aged blade. Beautiful hard grained tiger maple handle with 3 mid sized brass pins. Spine/Tang 1/8" thick, sharp enough for ferro rod use. Blade width about 1 7/16". Handle length about 4 1/2" long. Blade is 4 1/2" long, convex ground sharpened from the tip to hilt. Overall about 9" long.
Matt Lesniewski also made some of the primitive knives used in the movie "The Revenant" with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Hand stitched and antiqued leather belt sheath. Will fit a belt up to 2" wide. Unique one of a kind scroll and vine work and hand tooling running along the line of stitching. Sheath signed and dated on backside 2016. This knife is new condition, unused and comes with Matt's certificate of authenticity also signed by him. Great package and his knives are hard to get without waiting a year if you order one. Excellent all around use for this knife. This was originally purchased for $325 from Matt. Big savings here.
