I tried and tried to like this knife, going so far as to mod every aspect of it that I viewed as not quite perfect. The most important thing to me about it was that I could carry it tip down, and deploy it quickly. But no matter the changes I made to it, I could never get it to interacxt with my pocket the way the Spyderco Resilience did, and so even the mighty YoJumbo has failed to knock the Resilience off its throne.
Quick summary of changes:
Long story short, this knife deployed for me about 80% of the time with ease, but that 20% when it was positioned just a little off in my pocket made it so I had to regrab it after a failed attempt to deploy it. Were this not the case, there is no way I would give it up. But the Resilience NEVER fails to deploy for me,and has kicked every other Spyderco out of my pocket, including Caribbean, Manix 2 XL, Millie, Endura, Sliverax, Manix 2 CBBL and back lock, etc.

Quick summary of changes:
- Sleeker blade shape with a straight spine
- Added a detent ramp, making left handed carry and and closing viable
- Reprofiled edge to 15° per side
- Neutral handle for more versatility in utility roles
- Deep carry clip
- Removed the point on the tang that intruded intro the lockbar cutout area, so now you can close it right handed without having to remove your finger at the least microsecond
