This knife is now SOLD
thanks folks,
G2

Recently picked up this nice Murray Carter Muteki Neck knife, but some bills popped up,( read flat tire and then had to buy a set of 4 tires...:( ), and so this is on the selling block.

It has a center core of Hitachi White steel that takes an amazing edge, I have done a lot of cleanup work on the flats of this and then I etched the blade and along the spine with ferric chloride to bring out the darker metal of the center layer. Also I have sharpened it to it's betterment as well, extremely sharp knife!!!

The handle is desert ironwood scales

Blade measures 3 3/4" tip to scales
Handle measures just under 3 3/4"
Blade is about 3mm thick at the spine but has a distal taper in the blade as well as a tapered tang, well done.

This comes with THREE sheaths

The kydex neck sheath
The kydex horizontal sheath
and a custom made leather pocket sheath by Joo'Fuu bonafide profile here, and shown in these photos. I also did a little work on this sheath, inside I glued a piece of elk skin, this provides nice soft gripping action on the handle making it more secure in the sheath.

Price shipped in the USA is $325 Price drop to $310 shipped payment by US Postal Money order or check if I know you, no trades on this one please.

I'll also include this nice presentation/storage box to ship the knife and the three sheaths in, the box has slots cut into the foam that make it idea storage for small folders, or you can lay a larger knife on the foam and mark around it and then carefully remove the excess foam to make it a custom fit for the knife you want to keep stored.

Thanks for checking, had a couple people interested but no takers yet,

Thanks, it is a pretty impressive knife, especially after the work done on the blade, the sharpening and the added leather inside the pocket sheath, makes it quite handy, here's a shot showing how that leather looks inside the sheath, it cradles the handle and provides a nice gripping action to retain the knife in the sheath.

Well I have to apologize if I was a little obscure when I made that last post, had to explain the relation to what I posted to the movie,
I had dropped the price to $310 and it just popped in my head the movie 3:10 to Yuma ;) sorry if anyone else might have been confused by that, I am a movie knut as well as a knife knut too

Knife/sheaths/box are still available at this time.
Thanks for checking,
G2
