I'm interested in this knife.
I've never seen this tang stamp before.
Did you buy it from Murray Carter?

I was going to send a PM, but figured I would answer here in case others had the same question.

Cant recall if I bought it directly from Murray (Blade Show) or from one of the old time Custom Knife dealers way back when.

The stamp is Murray’s old stamp that has Japanese writing with By Carter underneath. Here’s a link to a review of this same type of knife that Gary Graley did a while back in which he talks about the stamp. https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/murray-carter-neck-knife.1431612/

I did send a pic to Murray a few years back to ask about the steel core, which I believe said was Hitachi White. Don’t have the email anymore.

Thanks for looking.
