Murray Carter Camp knife, made many years ago by Murray while he was still in Japan, one of a kind and great knife overall. The person that had it before had sharpened it down a bit, and left the edge thicker, so I took and hand sanded down the primary grind to bring it into a better cutting ability and then etched the blade to show the center layer of high carbon Hitachi White steel.
Price shipped in the USA is $old

It's a Camp knife but not a huge one, blade is about 6 3/4" with about a 5" handle bringing an overall length just under 12"
Blade thickness is about 5mm
Sheath has been taken apart, glued up the welts and hand stitched, also added a belt loop that allows the sheath to pivot so when you go to sit down it will move out of it’s way.

I did thin down the flats of the bevel to make it a better cutter/slicer and then acid etched to bring out the center core of the Hitachi white steel.
Blade is balanced just in front of the handle

Nice knife, sheath shows some wear, the top layer is not cow hide, has a more coarser texture not sure just what it was taken from, I was guessing shark skin. The knife fits into it secure, there is a very small wear hole but that does not hinder it’s use or retention.
Thanks for checking, not looking for any trades on this, need funds for some hospital bills coming due from my wife’s surgery.
