The second knife is one of my harpoon hunters in N690 steel. It is at RC60 and was also heat treated by Peter's. I left mill scale on the flats for effect. The handle is stabilized ancient Bog Oak that I got from Mark at Burl Source a while back and Have been waiting for the right project for it. The guard is out of a very cool carbon fiber and brass weave from CarbonWaves. It's the second time I've used this as guard material and I really like it's look and that it's super light. The spacers are brass and black micarta.
SPECS:
OAL: 10"
BLADE: 4.5" long, 1.25" wide, high flat grind with mill scale flats, 600 grit cork belt satin finish, edge down to 0.01" before sharpening.
STEEL: 5/32" N690 stainless steel, RC60 heat treated by Peter's.
HANDLE: Stabilized ancient Bog Oak from Burl Source. CarbonWaves carbon/brass weave guard with brass and micarta spacers.
SHEATH: Standard leather sheath included at N/C. Custom sheath work can be referred at buyers expense.
$325 *SOLD* Shipped CONUS, international buyers welcome, shipping extra.
