Up for grabs tonight is a new Benchmade 940-1, originally purchased from KSF. The knife was removed from the box for the photograph and for inspection.
The blade is almost perfectly centered (appears so to the naked eye, and would be within a 1mm tolerance)
No lateral or vertical blade play. Smooth axis lockup right at the sweet spot.
Strong detent and the blade favors being closed but will open with light to medium pressure on the thumbstud. At the current adjustment point the blade will not fall freely when the axis lock is depressed in the open position. This one is awesome!
The specs from Benchmade:
In addition to the black pocket clip, I will also include a silver replacement clip (no coating) with screws.
Box and warranty card included. The box has a slight crush mark on one end from original shipping. In all other respects the box is in excellent condition.
