Gentlemen,
I'm excited to offer this one up tonight. It's version 3.0 of my Tamarack Hunter. It has less drop to the tip and has a thumb ramp. The handle ergonomics are the same as the original.
This inaugural one is 26C3 carbon steel with hamon and some beautiful stabilized curly Red Gum that I got from @Greenberg Woods. It's going to come with a pouch style leather sheath.
SPECS:
OAL: 9.0"
BLADE: 4" long, 1.375" wide. It has been finished to 1200 grit then etched and polished to reveal the hamon. The grind is hybrid flat/convex which is down to 0.009" before sharpening.
STEEL: 0.125" 26C3 carbon steel heat treated to RC63.
HANDLE: Stabilized Curly Red Gum with black linen and natural canvas micarta liners and natural micarta pins and lanyard tube.
Sheath: Pouch style leather.
Price: $SOLD Shipped USPS in the CONUS
international buyers welcome, shipping extra.
Paypal, checks or money orders accepted.
Post "I'll take it" here in this thread and then PM or email me for arrangements.
Comments/Questions/Critiques welcome.
Thanks for looking!
