FEDERICO SALVESTRONI NEW YORK SPECIAL
This is a really nice Loveless pattern New York Special by well known Italian maker Federico Salvestroni. Hollow ground and mirror finish, brass bolsters, butterscotch canvas micarta scales, black liners, top clip edge not sharp - unused, never sharpened. The blade is 3.5", overall length is 7.25". I purchased it from a friend 1 1/2 years ago, but knives, with me, they tend to come and go. I paid $xxx for a $xxx knife, so someone gets a good deal in this current knife sell-off.
What attracted me to this little piece in the first place was how well the maker thought out the combination of materials. I hate brass on a knife, but it actually is part of the attraction here, with the rarely-seen butterscotch canvas micarta holding together the color design, which also includes the stainless thru-bolts ringed with brass. Comes with makers lanyard, bead, and sheath by maker.
