The 07 series knives debut a new innovation in the fire button design that moves the whole plunge lock out of the middle of the blade and onto the back area of the pivot where you see the oblong style button. Releasing the auto blade is pretty much effortless but you have to be more deliberate in doing it so that your your thumb angles over the button area. Definitely a great innovation here adding a little more safety against an accidental release plus the whole tang of the knife at the pivot is as solid as a liner lock with no cut outs in the blade for the button slide that you find on basically 99% of the coil fired autos built today. Naturally these these blades are super fast with an excellent lock up and a swish to click sound that beams precision construction. Rob Dalton's 07 series knives also feature pocket clips that can be moved to the front or back of the handle with predrilled and threaded screw holes.
