This is one of my earlier pieces, back from the days before I made my own blanks. This one came from the "Armageddon Skinner" blank from Premium Knife Supply, and I finished it quite some time ago. The knife looks nothing like the original blank, as I saw a smaller EDC sized knife within the canvas of the larger skinner blank. I was practicing with my etching machine today, and now that this one is marked, I thought it appropriate to offer it here, and for a nice price.
This knife has a skinny build, with the intention to pack a whole lot of knife into a light package. You get a fixed blade that defies size categorization, being light, but strong, and having cutting edge and cutting ability to rival popular folders like the Military, which originally inspired me to make this knife.
Steel: 9Cr14MoV
Stock thickness: 4mm
Overall Length: 8 5/8"
Cutting Edge: 3 7/8"
Weight: 4.3 oz
Geometry: 15° per side, 20° microbevel, .015" to .020" behind the edge
Handle: Camo micarta, white and very thin yellow G10 liners, mosaic pins
Sheath: Black Kydex, paracord set up for belt carry, OWB, or IWB, and the sheath is also secure enough to be suitable for neck carry, if 4.3 oz is not too much for you.
Let not the anti-Chinese hype get the better of you, the 9Cr steel family is a tough, stainless and perfectly serviceable steel that will do everything a knife is supposed to do, and do it well.
With the smaller handle, it won't be a knife for extended hard use, but if you have medium to small fingers, you could choke up on it and use it like a knife with a choil, adding to its functionality. And for quick and convenient cutting power always at the ready, this one will excel and serve you well very well and look good doing it.
Asking SOLD
Price is via PayPal G&S (I will provide the email address in private messaging) and includes expedited shipping with full tracking and insurance.
