Greetings all,
Offered for sale is sweet hunter by one of the most talented makers in the game - Nick Wheeler.
You can read some interesting background on this piece and see some in-progress pics here:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/830517-Nick-Wheeler-Marbles-Hunter
This piece is one of exceptional provenance, forming part of the set of Nick's JS test knives:
Nick not only attained his JS stamp with this set, he also claimed the prestigious Peck Award - which came as a surprise to no-one familiar with his work.
I'll edit in the dimensions when I get home, but figure at least 4 1/2" blade, 8" overall - might be a touch larger.
1084 blade, ironwood handle, stainless steel guard, synthetic spacers.
As shown below, the knife comes with an exceptional (is there any other kind?) Paul Long sheath.
Offered at US$OLD! - inclusive of Paypal (vastly preferred) and shipping within the US and Canada. I will ship overseas to a BF member, but that would be at additional and actual cost - and it is pricey.
As always, I am happy to answer questions, but the first "I'll take it" by e-mail or PM will add this slick piece to their collection.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
Roger
