A catch and release for me, always admired the EdgeObserver's review of this knife and wanted to see how it was in person, it is very light but surprisingly solid, seems almost contradictory in terms but it's true. The PureBackLock is a neat innovation and works great, there is absolutely zero blade play at all with this folder.

The Nilte Quiete folder with PureBackLock mechanism, a very limited number were made, this one started it's life out in white G10 and was RIT dyed to an orange but the previous owner did a nice job, he made it so you can see some of the white coming through so it gives it a real rustic life worn look while still being new condition. The texture is there but not aggressive so it will not be too hard on pants pockets or even shirt pockets as being as light as it is, you could easily slip this into a shirt pocket for carry and forget it's there.

I've included a diamond knotted para cord lanyard, with some black thread whipping to help keep it from swinging up into the blade area.

Price shipped in the USA is $205 by US Postal Money order

Here are a couple images of the knife, it will also include the Nilte box it came in from the factory in Italy with paperwork as well.

please note that the zippered pouch in the photo is for my earphones not for the knife ;)

Question was asked about the edge, with the sandvik razor steel she's very sharp and edge bevels allow her to cut easily through material, here's a shot taken this morning cutting down through our phone book, boy my wife hates when I do that ;)

a lot of knives would mark the top layer and not get down through as cleanly as this.
