- It pains me to part with this knife, but I can't bring myself to carry and use it. I have a self imposed no "safe queen" policy so I'm letting it go.
- I sent this knife to the Olamic factory right after purchasing it for customization. Eugene Solomonik, gave the blade flats, back spacer and pocket clip a beautiful satin finish for visual contrast. Notice the Olamic logo and Elmax blade etches were completely redone after the satin finish at the factory and they are perfect.
- The knife was purchased new a little over a year ago. I carried it only twice, but never did any cutting with it.
- Photos were taken when the knife came back from customization, but hasn't been carried or used since then. The last photo was taken today.
- Smooth blade action with no play in any direction.
- Nice medium/strong detent and the blade opens with an authoritative THWACK every time.
- The factory edge was sharp and even but, I reprofiled to 16º per side and polished it on my Wicked Edge Sharpening system.
- Blade is EXTREMELY SHARP!!!
- Blade Centering is perfect!
- Factory zipper case, pivot tool and certificate of authenticity included.
