I have for sale a very special treat. An Omega Seamaster Chronometer Steel on steel (41 mm)
Apologies for the terrible pics, this watch looks much better in person!!!
(Model # 2531.80.00). I am the original owner. Purchased from a chain big box store in Florida that no longer exists (Service Merchandise). This watch was purchased on 12/21/96 (original receipt provided)
Includes original box and papers (outer box and inner red leather box) and couple extra band links for sizing and all the little tags that were attached at time of purchase.. The box red leather and leatherette box has a signs of wear and deterioration from being 20 years old. The outer box is in excellent shape.
I wore this watch daily for about 2 years (office desk job) put it away in a climate controlled safe, wore it 1-2 other times over the years to party or event. Never made it back in the rotation, so off it goes.
Service History
-Watch was cleaned and serviced (regular maintenance) in 2003-ish by a Master Watch Maker who worked exclusively on Six-figure+ watches (my former neighbor).
-Watch was last serviced to replace a loose crown, which was replaced with a new OEM Omega crown and stem. Was also checked over and given a clean bill of health and put back away (never worn)
If you choose, this watch could be professionally buffed and polished to perfection and appear brand new!!!
Condition
Watch has signs of normal wear on the band and clasp (could use a polish) – see pictures
Watch case and watch back in very good shape– see pictures
Watch bezel is in good shape with a couple small nicks– see pictures
Original sapphire crystal appears perfect– see pictures
Watch keeps time and reserve seems normal
Date adjust works properly
