I thought I'd never do this...but funds are needed. This has been my camping companion since I got into camping this year.
This is one-of-a-kind Laconico camp knife, and is most likely the only one like it that will ever be made according to Ray. This knife has a 6.5" blade, and is made of 0.25" thick O1 steel differentially tempered with a nice temper line going through the blade. The handle is black paper micarta, and is absolutely one of the most comfortable handles on any knife I have owned. And as usual, this blade has the fit and finish perfection all Laconico customs are known for.
Ray acid-etched this blade to give it a nice dark, rustic look. The acid wash tends to show blade scuffs a little easier, which is why you can see where I did some batonning with it.
This blade is in great condition minus the scuffs, and comes SHARP!
Asking $SOLD for this one of a kind Laconico. Free shipping to CONUS and Canada. First "I'll take it!" gets priority.
Thanks for looking!
