I have a Matt Diskin Fire looking for a new home. This is a one of a kind specimen, the only prototype Fire with Matt’s hand-textured and sculpted lightning strike carbon fiber scales (ended up being too labor intensive for him to recreate). Titanium frame has a dark stonewash, while the blade is Elmax steel. Thumb stud, pivot, and hardware are beautifully matched purple and flamed colors. Backspacer is also LSCF – runs the entire length of the scales.
The knife can be opened and closed manually or auto-deployed using the discreet scale release – very smooth and strong action. Lockup is solid and early, and blade is centered when closed. Comes with black leather pouch.
I pocketed this a few times, but the knife was babied. No issues though I believe it was lightly sharpened by the previous owner.
