I'd like to sell the following two knives. US customers only. PayPal only. Please post "I'll take it" on the thread to claim the merchandise.
First is this gently used Spyderco Slyz Swayback. It has done very little cutting but there is a diminutive little chip in the edge near the tip. I've done my best to capture it in the magnified image below. Also, the factory sharpener removed slightly more steel from the heel of the blade than from the tip, resulting in a very subtle recurve. It's not significant enough to show in these photos, but you will see it if you scrutinize the edge. Apart from this, the knife is tip top. I have not sharpened or touched up the edge. The action is free swinging when tension is removed from the lockbar. Blade centering looks good. Your price is $195>>$173 shipped. Withdrawn. It ships in the original zipper pouch from Spyderco.
This picture shows the "chip," for lack of a better term. As you can see, it will sharpen out easily. It's the tiny reflective bit on the bottom.
Next is my Benchmade 565-1 mini super freek in S90V with carbon fiber scales. I've carried it very little, but there is some history with the blade. It came from the factory as dull as a butter knife, so I've had to sharpen it. Also, the edge bevels were (and still are) asymmetrical. I did not want to remove enough steel to restore symmetry. There are some shallow scratches on the show side of the blade. Otherwise, the knife is in excellent condition. Your price is $165 shipped. SOLD. This is $100 less than retail for a new one. The knife ships in the original Benchmade box.
The last picture shows the scratches on the blade.
