This knife was first sold by A.G. Russell Knives in 2009 and it has been out of production for some years. Described by AGR as “a classic hawkbill on steroids,” it's a big, substantial mid-lock folder with an ebony Rucarta® handle in a swayback pattern. This example was purchased new in 2009, used once to prune some house plants and has been in storage ever since.
The hollow-ground blade is made of 9Cr18Mo stainless steel at 57-58 Rc and measures 3-½ inches long, just over 1-¼ inches wide and ³⁄₁₆ of an inch thick at the spine. Closed, it measures 4-⁷⁄₁₆ inches long, ½ inch thick and weighs approximately 5.2 oz. The blade pivots on bronze washers; the bolsters and liners are made of stainless steel, as is the lining of the lanyard hole. Includes the original packaging and black nylon sheath, all in like-new condition (see photos).
Asking $SOLD if paid by Zelle, check or money order or $SOLD if paid by PayPal G&S. Price includes insured shipping via USPS anywhere in the continental US.
