SOLD: This is from the original run of custom knives Adventure Sworn made. Rather than buying direct from the inventory as they previously offered they did an elaborate menu of options you could choose from. Best I can tell this is from the early time period when they moved from Cody's basement to the little wooden schoolhouse shop and I am the original owner that ordered this knife. There was a 3 or 4 month waiting list at that time. Cody was doing all the blades, Amber was making sheaths and Leif (Adirondack Woodsman ?) was making handles and I think a cousin or nephew of Cody was helping out in the shop. This was way before the CNC days.
This is the Classic model made in O1 tool steel and ordered with the heat treat scale left on. It has Walnut scales over thick "green" micarta liners which have since aged to brown. These are the thickest 8/8 profile version handles. Leather sheath is machine sewn as this was the time period when they transitioned from hand sewn to machine sewn. I added the dangler, the lanyard/bead on the knife and made the fire steel (unused) myself. Adventure Sworn is etched into the spine on top of the handle, O1 USA etched into the tang below the handle.
Knife was used just a few times to make some tarp stakes and a few feather sticks. Original edge stropped a few times on green paste and there is some patina on the exposed steel parts in addition to the heat treat scale. No damage, no issues. Sheath is in perfect shape. Original paperwork is still sealed in its envelope, unopened. No box.
