For sale is an original Gerber LHR fighting knife with its sheath, leg strap, box and brochure, all in new old stock condition. The Larsen Harsey Reeve (LHR) fixed-blade knife and sheath were designed by combatives expert Matt Larsen and award-winning knifemakers William W. Harsey Jr. and Chris Reeve. It was introduced by Gerber in 2010, generally received excellent reviews for both the knife and the unique sheath and is considered by many collectors to be among the best combat knives produced by Gerber in many years.

The knife measures approximately 12-⅜ inches in overall length. It has a black-coated full tang blade of 420HC stainless steel approximately 7 inches long with a partly-serrated cutting edge about 6-3/16 inches in length. The blade is marked on one side with the sword-in-stone logo over “GERBER” and is marked on the other side “LARSEN-HARSEY-REEVE / MADE IN USA” (see photos).

The black handle is made of textured TacHide and includes a glass breaker pommel. The composite sheath includes a retention mechanism to ensure that the knife can only be removed by the person carrying it. The sheath has MOLLE compatible belt loops and includes an adjustable leg strap.

This example was purchased new at retail in June 2010, has been in home storage ever since and has never been used, carried or sharpened. The knife came with a small white mark on one side of the blade that can be seen in the photos. The box shows very slight storage wear and a flap on one end has a partial tear that's hard to see when closed.

Asking price is $400, payable by Zelle or USPS money order. I'll also accept a personal check but will wait for it to clear before shipping. Sorry, no PayPal. Price includes shipping via USPS Ground Advantage anywhere in the continental US. First “I’ll take it” posted here has priority, please DM me with any offers, questions or for more photos, thanks.
