Hello all,
This is Praj and Pradip from GK Khukuri. First of all I apolozies for long disappreance from the forum and Khuk Community. Reason behind that was basically we stopped making and exporting Khukuries to USA in 2007. I myself moved back to Nepal in 2008. Pradip stopped making khukuries then because Maoist were giving us lot of problems. Their donation demands were so high that we had to close our shop.
Once they found out that we were selling Khukuries to USA, Local Maoist began demanding unreasonable donations from Pradip. There was no point making and selling Khukuries because most of the profits were going to them. Since now those problems have been gone we started making Khukuries again. I am planning to establish GK Khuks as a reputable brand of khukuries. Ours is a small family run Khukuri shop and we hand forge our khukuries one at a time with great pride and care. Truly a Gourmet Khukuri. As before all our Khuks come with Iron Clad lifetime warranty . I will be getting limited numbers of our genuine Hand forged Khukuries regularly.
Currently I have limited numbers of Genuiene Original GK BONECUTTERS in stock, which i will be offering here. I am in the process of building a GK webite too. I hope you guys will support us.
Today, up for sale I have an Original Bonecutter Khuk. This Bonecutter got very popular with Khuk lovers due to ease of handling and perfect balance. They are still in High demand. Lot of makers tried to duplicate it without success. They just could not forge it with right balance.
Here are the specifications.
Overall length is 22 inches. Blade length is 16 inches.
Weight with sheath is 3lbs 15oz, Blade weighs 2lbs 12oz.
Thickness on spine is 0.5 inch at the thickest spot. This one is a beast, will handle any job perfectly.
