I’m selling a 2008 Umnumzaan from the first quarter of 08, basically amongst the first made Umnumzaan’s. It won knife of the year at the 2008 Blade Show. This has the original features such as a unique beautifully machined pivot, the original lock bar that is more comfortable as it’s flat and lower to the frame, easy to unlock and not sharp like the new ones. No lock bar stabilizer, no Idaho made marking. Old style blade jimping.
Previous owner sent it to CRK to get it fitted with a Magnacut blade. Magnacut blade is pristine and unused. S30V blade has been used and sharpened. The knife looks amazing with its original blasted finish, it does have some marks on the original blade and on the handle but none too bad, the handle and blade have beautiful character. Does not come with birth card or original box. Box was re-issued at CRK.
Everything works as it should, this is amazing example of a prime Umnumzaan nicely broken in with the original blade and feeling like a new knife with the Magnacut blade.
Additionally it comes with J2H titanium backspacer installed, original lanyard is included. Comes with Umnumzaan J2H bit tools to disassemble the knife. Small allen wrench. Two zaan barrel spacers.
