Thank you to everyone who bought a 'Brewtal' from the last run and provided design and use feedback. That valuable input resulted in some small changes, making what I think is a terrific and useful final product.

The bottle opener portion is slightly redesigned and works very very well and is more robust. There is a little change to the shape adding a bit of material across the knuckles which in turn makes it a more effective duster... Keyring hole chamfered and of a size that allows it to slide freely.

If unfamiliar with it... this is a combination knuckle duster and bottle opener keyring. Designed to look as little like a weapon as possible. A last ditch bit of leverage that just might save your bacon... Heck, you never know. And at least it will open a beer in the meantime...

Otherwise, self explanatory. Waterjet cut, media tumbled, wire brushed and acid etched. 6061 aluminum. As always a discount for the forum. They're $15 on my site, so $12.50SOLD OUT shipped CONUS for the forum. If you bought one last time email me and I'll reward you with another couple bucks off...

Here is how they are packaged for shipping this go around. A step up from last time as I was able to find ziploc baggies perfect for this.

Either PM me here with your email, and quantity and I'll send you a PP invoice. Or email me at E.Lucy@gmx.com with the same info. Please do not send me a visitor message on my profile here to order. I use Tapatalk a lot and will not see these messages for quite some time. This is a different animal than PM'ing.

I have SOLD OUT this time. These are in hand and shipping within a day or two of the invoice being paid. (Probably same day but have to allow for my day job...)

Cheers.

And as mandated... You are responsible for knowing your local laws regarding ownership and carry. Customer is responsible for any and all damage to persons or property from use or misuse of this product.

Got em. Will send PP invoices in the AM for everything received tonight. Wife will drop em in the mail in the PM.

BTW, the color isn't showing up well in pics. Almost looks white. It's silver, just not a polished silver. The surface treatment I've come up with acts sort of like anodizing but not...

They're tumbled to knock down corners. Then the keyring holes are double chamfered. Then wire brushed all over and immediately dunked in a muriatic acid bath (beware fumes if you ever do this at home...) and etched, which makes tiny pores in the surface. They are then lightly brushed again which knocks the pores down and brightens it up. It results in a shiny but soft feeling silver appearance that doesn't oxidize as bad and doesn't scratch terribly. I suppose I could try a dye bath after the etch like with anodizing and see how well the color holds up. Regular anodizing has proven too delicate for keychains IMO. Scuffs off way too easily.

Cheers. Thanks again!

Maybe I'm missing something here? Without the usual palm support piece found on regular brass knuckles, what will using this device
to punch with do, other than mangle your own fingers?
?

Does an empty handed punch mangle your fingers? If it does you're doing something terribly wrong...

This is what it states it is... Last ditch. I've repeatedly nailed a heavy bag with one on and sure, its not 'comfortable,' but it would be worse on the receiving end. It is designed to concentrate the blow down a thin line of a hard material. In this case, aluminum... In most instances, if you're justified in using this as a duster, a little pinched finger is the least of your worries...

Besides, adding material here and there starts to defeat the point of it not looking like a duster, and starts to be cumbersome to carry.... I tried designing and selling a model that was much more duster-like... I was asked to leave it like this.

Besides, if it ain't your cup of tea, don't buy it...
