CUSTOM RAPTOR
This is one quite especial raptor from me due its different tip shape. While my raptors were designed initially to be k-tip, i have ground this blade quite thin so for adding more resistance to the tip of the blade, i picked a shepsfoot profile so it does not flex too much under pressure. The whole blade is perfectly balanced right in the pinch grip area, allowing you to precisely control the blade.

The most special thing on this blade despite having a quite unique, functional design, is also its handle. It is made out of solid A+ grade amboyna burl, which among many cool features, my favorite is that it was the first specie of wood used by Rolls Royce in their luxury dashboards.

There arent many things cooler than imagining a lot of engineers and product designers deciding on a specie of wood for a high-end car luxury dashboard. There are a lot of reasons why they picked amboyna, but its beauty speaks by itself.

It has 210mm of blade length.

OLD Shipped with zipped pouch included.

In my opinion, amboyna burl seems to be the most prized burl among knife collectors and it is often considered the most figured of them all.

TWO 5" UTILITY CHEF KNIVES - your daily stainless workhorse for maximum performance

There are two different shapes: mini gyuto and a mini santoku.

They were both crafted to serve as TOOLS. While there is some artwork in the handle of the mini santoku, they both were designed to be workhorses with a very aggressive grind instead a rigid, solid spine.

They are extremely light, fast and easy to use. Balance is perfectly set to the point that it feels a natural part of your body. Them both have average weight of 100 grams only.

The mini santoku is wider, more specific for chopping and dicing, a true winner for veggies and spices. Its handle is done out of kingwood, ebony and a blue composite spacer.

The mini gyuto has a more wide range of uses due its more pointy tip, it will offer great performance all around. Its handle is out of solid kingwood, a true rosewood from Dalbergia genus.

Their grinds have been mastered near zero, wont take more than 1 minutes to setup a razor sharp edge on it during the very first hundred of uses.

Both in Sandvik 14c28n steel hardened to 61, extremely tough alloy, edge retention better than 52100 but stainless. Basically AEBL composition but improved.

MINI GYUTO: 200$ AVAILABLE
MINI SANTOKU: 230$ AVAILABLE
By taking both, you get free shipment and 380$ total. Cant hold these knives, whoever claims first gets it.

I hope this means my amboyna burl knives are coming out soon? Beautiful work.
My wife has adopted the raffir scale raptor, so I need another raptor soon.
Absolutely, raptors and amboyna burl are a nice combo. Happy to know the raffir one is serving you well
