Ive got an idea id like to run by yall.
I work for a Natural Stone fabrication shop here in Louisiana and ive been trying to think of ways I can limit the amount of waste we deal with up here. Its really hard to throw away some the beautiful stone we work with everyday.
I seen on Amazon a while back these things called 'Whiskey Rocks' and thought to myself... I could make these!
So, I played around with my rock tumbler for awhile and think ive got the recipe right for a fine homemade Whiskey Rock that I think yall would be pleased to poor your liquor on.
The idea here is to put your stones into the freezer and let them get cold, just like an ice cube. Once the stones are cold, you put a couple in your whiskey glass and poor in your whiskey!
Now you can chill your drink without diluting it! Now, I do realize you could just put your whiskey in the fridge and get the same effect, but where is the fun in that?
If your at all skeptical about the quality and performance of my stones please refer to my other thread over on JK's forum. JK Handmade Knives has been a gracious host by letting me post my 'pre-production' stones for testing and feedback.
