Recently I had a run of 'The Brewtal' bottle opener/UC Duster done using a design that was slightly different than the original. This was in response to those who contacted me after the last batches sold out, and I wanted to offer them the chance to grab one.

Unfortunately, an unattended machine with a bit of 'user error' resulted in a batch of blemished 'Brewtals.' These are a different design, use two keyring holes instead of one, and have a slightly different long end to them. The 'user error' was in the form of allowing the machine path to start and end on a long side. This resulted in small divots on the long side on some of the cut blanks. Others have a small divot on the short palm side of the bigger end due to the same mistake... The remaining blemishes are in surface thickness variations caused during the etching process... Apparently some oils or something were on the surface of a few resulting in a minor difference in the 'landscape' across the flats.

Now, all of these blemishes are very minor. But, they were enough for me to pull them as being fit for sale as a finished item. These are all finished the rest of the way out in my normal fashion, including the acid etch and wire brushing, which results in a shiny but durable finish. And, just like the original, I will include a stainless split ring and include shipping to anywhere in the US, US Territories, Armed Forces postal recipients, and Canada. Any other locales contact me and shipping will be charged at actual rates.

Pricing is (SOLD OUT)$10 flat. Email me at E.Lucy@gmx.com with the quantity you wish to purchase, and your location if outside the US and I will respond with a PayPal invoice to the email address of your choice. Once paid, they ship. They're all finished and ready to ship... I have about 40-45 blems recovered and up for purchase...

A recap, for those that don't know what a 'Brewtal' is... This is an undercover knuckle duster which masquerades as a bottle opener. It is designed to be an absolutely last ditch weapon, but one that is not intrusive and avoids close inspection due to it's unique design. As such, one is more likely to carry it on a routine basis, therefore having it when needed. It isn't comfortable to use, as again, it is a last ditch weapon. But, it is much worse on the receiving end. I have worked a heavy bag with one for an extended period of time. A little red mark was all that was left, and honestly it wasn't all that uncomfortable. Imagine having some big biker style rings on your fingers and you get the idea...

As always, laws regarding the purchase, carry and use of any weapon of this type vary greatly from state to state and locale to locale. By initiating a purchase, the buyer agrees that he/she is aware of, and in compliance with those laws that apply to them. Buyer also agrees that they alone are liable for the consequences of any illegal use of or illegal possession of said item.

(On a side note, I had an issue with the supposedly stainless split rings I had from a past supplier. They were apparently nickel plated instead of solid stainless... If you purchased an item from me before and had the nickel rub off your split ring, I will send you an extra if you purchase on of these. I have a new supplier that guarantees they are stainless rings this time...)

Thanks as always!!

I did forget to say, didn't I? These are made from 6061 Aluminum. They are then chamfered, tumbled, acid etched, and wire brushed. It gives the rustic but shiny appearance these have.
