I am going to go with the name "Bandicoot" for these tools. I am currently working with a local water jet company to be able to provide these on a larger scale. The bandicoot is an agressive, Indian sub-species of the common rat. I think it fits these little guys perfectly. So going forward I will be referring to these as "G1 Bandicoots" and "G1 mini Bandicoots"
ABOUT THE G1 BANDICOOT
These are .178 Timascus and are 100% handmade by me, no waterjet. They are heat anodized and are all different. The perforated ones have no logo. They have a nice feel and "charm" to them thanks to the handmade factor. I'm sure that most of you guys know that Timascus is not cheap, especially at this thickness. All of these have been neatly engraved "JW 2013" as a makers mark.
These all have nice swedges on them which both reduce the already light weight and give a little more functionality to the pry bars. The small corners, although not "sharp" could easily be used to open packages.
The small forward hole provides traction while using the pry bar. The other small hole behind the caplifter is strictly aesthetic. The hole chamfers have NOT been re hit post anodize to maximize the beauty of the Timascus. All of these are run over a medium scotchbrite belt to soften the edges before they are anodized.
These all ship with a 0.5 Nite Ize Stainless S-Biner so they can easily be attached to a set of keys

negative again on the time frame, alpha doesn't even have any Timascus listed right now. As soon as they do I'll be scooping some up and doing another run of these
are you going to make some larger prybars like these?
