EXCEPT AS NOTED, THIS KNIFE IS IN LIKE NEW OLD STOCK CONDITION, HAS NEVER BEEN SHARPENED, CARRIED OR USED, AND HAS BEEN IN MY CUSTODY AND STORAGE SINCE MID 1980’S. IT HAS BEEN LUBRICATED, OPENED, EXAMINED AND SHOWN TO OTHERS. See pictures for best description.

I made all of the surface preparations as specified in "The Complete Book of Pocketknife Repair" by Ben Kelley, Jr., except I used a more modern epoxy, Loctite Repair Putty, and followed those instructions also. I used this process and product on another knife with excellent results. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
