I have a pair of Peak LED lights that I would like to move along. These Eigers have seen quite a bit of pocket/bag time and look like it.
Eiger 10440 - I have two of these in black aluminum. A short bodied one and, a longer body unit with the QTC pill. Both heads are fully functional and, both work on the short body. Not sure anymore what LED driver is in these. But, the output is excellent for such a small light.
I believe the carbon wafer that makes up the QTC pill in the longer body unit has degraded and no longer provides continuity for the ground. I also cannot get the pill unscrewed from the body. It's effectively just an aluminum tube unless you can work some magic. McGizmo clip included.
