While the cosmetic shape is clearly user condition, the function of the knife is outstanding. Nice firm detent like most Penas, good/solid early lock up, amazing action and centered. The blade does have some scratching on it. It's a user after all. The action and smoothness on this might be the best I have ever experienced.
When I bought the knife on the secondary, the edge needed some attention. I sent it off to Josh at REK and he put a nice working edge on the knife. It's a user so I wanted something that was low maintenance but still sharp as a razor. No mirror edges for this knife! The edge is still fresh and razor sharp.
This is your chance to get a Custom Pena at a great price that you won't be afraid to use. The "love marks" are already included at no extra charge! Other than the cosmetics, this knife is outstanding. I like the way it looks but if one desires, you could send it in to Pena to get it looking great. Personally, I would leave it as is though. I think it looks great.
Comes with a Pena pouch. I love this knife but the Mula has taken its place for me. So, moving this one on to someone else to use and enjoy it. It's a great EDC size. Probably one of the cheapest custom Pena knives you will find and this is one that's not a safe queen so feel free to use the ***t out of it.
