For sale: One of the sold-out Knifejoy run of Pena X Series "Old Mula" knives with black canvas micarta inlay. M390 steel.
I am the first true owner of the knife, having bought it a few months back (NIB) from a dealer. The action is very smooth when both thumbstuds are used at once (what some call the "Pena pinch" style of opening). The blade has never been sharpened.
Used more than most knives in my everyday rotation, the Pena has admittedly taken on some signs of use. The micarta is a bit worn, and I have tried to show in the final close-up photo that there are three small nicks in the upper handle, just south of the thumbstud. There are also some small chips in the blade (which I again tried to capture in the photo).
Taken together, these minor faults make the standard pricing excessive. I am therefore asking for(SOLD) for the knife, original box, and "Pena X Series" branded black cloth.
