Fresh off the Grinder... Stainless drop point and pressure cast Northern Spruce scales. Vine file-work along the edges spine

Very cool, do you have to seal the pine cone in resin and pressurize it to make it a useable material? That is a neat process in itself. Great knife.

Yes the pine cone is put in a mold and resin is poured over it. It's then pressurized to force resin into whatever material it is I'm using.
 
I have blown my knife buying budget all to hell this month so I can't purchase this but I have to say, it is a thing of beauty.

Your use of a pine cone for the handle is simply brilliant.

Thank you guys, nice knowing there are folks out there that appreciate the knives I'm putting out there. The reason I got into this craft is because I too have a passion (and a nice collection) of knives, but I also use almost all of them too. So while my knives might be neat to look at, they are also very functional pieces of equipment too. If your interested in one of my knives, let me know we might be able to work something out.
