I just picked up this DLT Exclusive but have decided it’s not for me. Blade is Cruwear and scales or purple. I’m the second owner and the clip has been moved but otherwise appears unused. Centering is spot on. $sold shipped. Would consider trade for Manix 2 or ZT 0562

I am interested in your knife, would you ship to Canada? (A pain, I know).

Costs a bit more to ship to Canada so I typically do not.

I’m more so wondering about if you've had success, I’ve been reading about Canadian border agents seizing pm2s. In another thread I’ve read they mentioned fairly easy “work arounds” such as tightening pivot nut etc. I understand the extra cost of shipping to CA and if your still interested I would eat the cost difference in shipping.

Thanks,

Joel

I have had luck. I was told to tighten the pivot so that it could not be flicked open. But that’s no guarantee that the knife would make it through inspection.

Yea I read to tighten it so that if the knife is opened a quarter of the way then flicked it won’t open. The Canadian border laws states that the agent can use slight manipulation (opening slightly to disengage the the force keeping it shut) before flicking which is ridiculous, but somehow the law.

I’m willing to take the risk, if you wouldn’t mind tightening the pivot up. To save you the hassle of international shipping I can use Seawings Express (in Blaine, WA) which is a service that accepts US packages and brings them across the border via ground to Canada, and conveniently Vancouver Island where I live. Might be the best shot of avoiding border agents?

I would arrange the Seawings (not on you), I would just need it shipped to their address in Blaine, WA.
